Every helpline number, IVR shortcut, grievance officer, and address is researched, called, and confirmed by our editorial team before publishing.

How we verify a number

  1. Primary-source pull. Editor opens the brand's official help / contact page (e.g. airtel.in/contact-us) and copies the published helpline number.
  2. Live test call. Editor dials the number from an Indian phone to confirm it routes to the correct brand and reaches an IVR or agent (not a dead line or scam redirect).
  3. IVR mapping. If a working IVR is present, editor records every menu option and identifies the shortest key sequence to reach a human ("Talk to Human shortcut").
  4. Cross-reference. The number is matched against the brand's TRAI / RBI / IRDAI public filing or annual report when available.
  5. Date-stamped publication. Every published listing carries the verification date, visible in each page footer.

Audit cycle

Every published listing is re-verified on a rolling 30-day cycle. The "Last verified" timestamp on each page reflects the date of the most recent re-verification, not the original publish date.

Correction policy

If you spot a wrong number, outdated IVR shortcut, or scam redirect, the "Report wrong number" link on every product page sends the report straight to the editorial team. We commit to:
